The Giant Oaks

These giants oaks date back to the 1800's. In 1990 lightning struck one of the 6 giant oak trees adjacent to the Hovatter farms entrance. In 1995 a second tree was toppled.

Carving a Totem Pole

A skilled chain saw craftsmen was hired to create a totem pole with the remaining tree. One carving for each Hovatter son.

The Totum still remains today after all these years.

The Totem Pole

Located adjacent to the County utility building, the Totem Pole still stands today.
