The Giant Oaks
These giants oaks date back to the 1800's.
In 1990 lightning struck one of the 6 giant oak trees adjacent to the Hovatter farms entrance.
In 1995 a second tree was toppled.
Carving a Totem Pole
A skilled chain saw craftsmen was hired to create a totem pole with the remaining tree.
One carving for each Hovatter son.

Located adjacent to the County utility building, the Totem Pole still stands today.
